Hello Friends!
This post finds a beautiful spring day in North Carolina. A day that I would love to be sitting outside on a beautiful deck or even better yet in a lovely sunroom. A beautiful beach view out the window or a lake. Water of any type would work for me, that isn't related to a storm. Instead, I'm sitting in my family's rented home, wishing that things were just a little different.
As the mom of two teenage sons, I am blessed in many ways. However one of the disappointing things for me is that my sons have a little need for the vast knowledge I have in my brain. They don't want to learn the things that my Grandmother taught me about life as she raised me. I was blessed with a Grandmother with a deep faith who taught me so many things about her faith and how to be a lady. Over the years I have learned so much about faith, love, life, motherhood, and running a home that I would add to the important life lessons she taught me.
My purpose in this blog is to share some wisdom that would only live in my brain without this outlet. I desire to sit down at my Grandmother's dining room table that lives in my small condo-like rented home and share some stories, faith, and wisdom. If it serves to help anyone, that will be even better. If it doesn't, then it will serve as an outlet for me to at least put some of my heart out there in the internet universe. Maybe it will serve someone in the future.
So I will prepare for my next post so that we can sit down together at the table and drink a cup of coffee together. I look forward to sharing with you and look forward to hearing from you as we walk through this life together.
